Carlos P. Oliver, President of Frazier Industrial Company since August 2001, has over 35 years of experience in the Material Handling industry. He joined Frazier in 1981 as a Sales Manager and in 1986 became a Division Manager of the High Rise/Automated Storage Division (ASRS) until 1992, where he became a Vice President of Sales. His success in double digit growth provided a natural transition to managing the larger Frazier organization, serving as Executive Vice President until 2001, prior to becoming President.
Carlos has served as President of the Rack Manufactures Institute (RMI) and on the Board of the Material Handling Industry and Material Handling Management Society (MHMS). He is very active in several Material Handling educational initiatives. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a graduate from the Key Executive Program at Harvard University.
Daniel Clapp, Director of Engineering at Frazier Industrial, has more than 40 years of experience in the engineering of storage rack systems. Currently he is a member of the High-Rise/ASRS Division responsible for the design, development, and implementation of our AS/RS systems and the current challenges of the industry. Dan has been instrumental in the research and development of Frazier’s structural steel storage rack standards for all product lines including High-Rise AS/RS.
Dan is also actively involved in the Rack Manufacturers Institute as the Chairman of the Engineering Committee, Chairman of the Specification Advisory Subcommittee, and Chairman of the Seismology Subcommittee. He is also active in the Canadian Standards Association A344 Industrial and Commercial Storage Racking Committee and a member of the International Code Council. He has served on the Storage Rack Project Task Group for the Building Seismic Safety Council of FEMA who has published “Seismic Considerations for Steel Storage Racks Located in Areas Accessible to the Public” Report 460. Dan is holder of four US Patents of storage rack components and connections. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
