Fairfield, NJ – March 4, 2020 – DMW&H, a full-service material handling solutions provider, are pleased to announce that Michael Roe, Senior Account Executive and Jim McLafferty, Director of Post and Parcel, will present two on-floor seminars during MODEX’s 2020 show in Atlanta, GA.
On Monday, March 9th, Michael Roe will present “Millennials Ruin Everything - Especially Retail and Your DC” at 11:15am in Theater F. The seminar will look at traditional verses modern retail and discuss how millennials are wreaking havoc on the world, and our industry is no exception. In this session, Roe will discuss how to adapt to the demands of the “participation trophy” generation.
On Wednesday, March 11th, Jim McLafferty will present “How to Combat Labor Shortages with the Best Mix of Automation” at 3:45pm in Theater H. During this seminar, McLafferty will identify real-world strategies that use automation to cope with the ongoing shortage of qualified labor in fulfillment, distribution, and parcel operations. The discussion will focus on what operations are best suited for automation and what automation is currently and soon-to-be available. You will leave this interactive session prepared to evaluate opportunities for improved labor strategies within your own operation.
