READING, PA (January 14, 2020) - Fortna®, The Distribution Experts®, a leading global automation, engineering services and software company, announced today that Matthew S. Harrison has joined as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Barry Malamud who is retiring. Matt will manage Fortna’s full scope of domestic and global financial operations and become a key member of Fortna’s senior executive team responsible for driving sustainable, strategic revenue and profit growth.
Prior to joining Fortna, Matt was executive vice president and CFO at Summit Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: SMLP), a provider of crude oil and natural gas gathering and processing services, where he managed over 20X EBITDA growth attributable to a combination of acquisitions and organic expansion. His 25 years of experience also includes executive financial leadership roles at firms including Hiland Partners, LP (Nasdaq: HLND), Wachovia Capital Markets and Price Waterhouse. He earned a CPA from the State of Georgia, a BS in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
