This seminar will address the challenges retailers face with SKU growth and the constant need to re-slot SKUs for optimal efficiency in an existing operation. This constant growth and change reduces the picking efficiency due to slotting SKUs in less than ideal locations. Examples will include how automation can help reduce the re-slotting burden associated with SKU proliferation in the warehouse. In addition, we will demonstrate how automation can better utilize the warehouse footprint by taking full advantage of the vertical cube of the building while reducing the operation's reliance on hard to find labor. The seminar will address functional areas from receiving through shipping.
