MOTORIZED PLATFORM

Rousseau Metal, Inc. (booth # 9423)

Summary of Innovation

Rousseau has developed a new motorized platform specially designed to accommodate a toolbox and facilitate transportation of heavy loads.
After the launch of the motorized toolbox, we received several requests to motorize mobile toolboxes already owned by businesses. Because they wanted to keep their existing toolboxes, we started to offer this more affordable option that can be used to motorize their toolboxes.
The R-Go Motorized Platform was developed on the same basis as the R-Go Motorized Toolbox. It integrates a wheel motor, which is controlled by a rotary knob that moves the platform forward or backward. The motor is powered by battery. The competitive advantage is in offering a complete solution that provides effective traction to safely climb and descend slopes up to 6°. The electromagnetic brake system greatly improves safety because users can stop instantly as needed.
The R-Go motorized platform has a load capacity of 800lb. or 1,500lb. depending on the dimensions. It can be used to move and maneuver on different types of surfaces (concrete, tile, carpet, etc.) without requiring any extra effort from the user.

Innovation Statement

The R-Go Motorized Platform is the only product of its type to feature anchoring zones for rapid and secure installation of a toolbox. Thanks to a large non-slip surface, it can also be used to transport heavy equipment while keeping it securely in place. The premium-quality, ultra-quiet casters significantly dampen vibrations and provide high-performance rolling.
Rousseau also differentiates from the competition by offering the platform in a wide range of colors. The platform's color can therefore be customized according to the company's brand image or its intended use.

Applicability

Rousseau's R-Go Motorized Platform is a valuable and ergonomic solution for handling heavy loads. It helps greatly to prevent musculoskeletal problems and increase productivity in the workplace.
