Position Summary

The Program Manager will be the customer-facing leader for our large, multi-site customer(s). This role is responsible for working with the sales management team and other internal and external stakeholders regarding customer management, forecasting, budgeting, CRM administration, customer order processes, and various other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must possess a robust administrative skill set, ability to communicate effectively, and analytical aptitude, including proficiency with a variety of software applications and strong computer literacy. The Program Manager must regularly address a multitude of administrative needs promptly and professionally within a fast-paced environment. Earning respect from internal and external customer will be the key to success in this role. The ideal candidate will bring a relevant blend of technical acumen along with wide-ranging interpersonal skills to the role.


Core Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the sales management team and other internal stakeholders with administrative requirements to help facilitate achievement of Company and customer goals
Serve as primary POC for customer to help them assimilate into Plug Power culture (and vice versa); helping resolve any issues that may arise
Develop tools and process improvements as required; provide relevant stakeholder communication and training
Maintain customer sales forecast for revenue and bookings, develop monthly reports, and serve as point person for inquiries regarding financial planning / budgeting
Maintain customer records in CRM and other internal tools
Assist internal and external partners with customer sales transactions regarding leasing, invoicing, collection, title transfer, recognition, and acceptance
Lead key account sales team; administer sales, contract and account reporting for the specified account(s)
Advise sales management team related to pricing; maintain documentation related to all standard and non-standard pricing scenarios
Produce reports outlining progress towards department goals and other related reporting as required
Develop and maintain strong cross functional relationships and collaborate effectively throughout the business
Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions
Perform all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience

Bachelors degree required in business, finance, accounting or other related field of study; MBA or equivalent degree desirable
A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience
Experience in any of the following is highly valued:
Sales
Finance
Account Management
Prior supervisory experience highly preferable
Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce.com (highly preferred).
Travel to customer meetings as required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders
Uncompromising dedication to quality
Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
Ability to role model high standards of professionalism
