MALVERN, PA – February 19, 2020 – ifm, a leading manufacturer of industrial sensors and controls, announced today a new O2I5 Series Multi-code reader for industrial applications. The new O2I5XX identifies and analyzes thousands of codes in a single application, regardless of their position or orientation.
ifm’s 0215XX Multi-code reader is fully self-contained, including imager, evaluation unit, illumination, and inputs/outputs, and is designed for ease of installation and implementation. The advanced programmable logic enables configurable inputs and outputs and can easily adapt to existing architecture.
For simple codes, setup is easy by using a pushbutton to teach the application. The sensor automatically sets the focus, exposure, filters, and code-type recognition in a matter of seconds. This reduces setup time and means more machine running time.
