Eco Beam Renew™

ID Label Inc.

Summary of Innovation

Driven by e-commerce, today's smart warehouses require inventory location flexibility. Operators want to slot products in a way that maximizes use of space and improves picking efficiencies. That can mean a greater need to relabel pallet locations with more frequency than was typically done in the past due to changes in product demand, higher return volumes or seasonal requirements. But scraping off old barcode labels and preparing beams for relabeling can be expensive and a real drain on worker productivity.

ID Label's Eco Beam Renew™ is a convenient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to relabel warehouse racks. It is a cover-up solution that applies directly over old or damaged labels without the time and expense of scraping, cleaning or painting. It's constructed with an opaque metalized backing and advanced adhesive to eliminate show-through of old barcodes, ensuring accurate scans of new labels. And because it features an easy-release laminated surface, removing rack labels in the future is a breeze.

Eco Beam Renew™ is manufactured without a liner, a growing trend in the labeling industry. This not only eliminates excess environmental waste and supports green initiatives -- it's also easier to apply and safer for workers because there aren’t any slick, discarded liners laying on the warehouse floor.

Innovation Statement

Eco Beam Renew™ applies directly over old or damaged warehouse labels, so relabeling rack locations is quick and easy. There’s no need for warehouse workers to spend hours scraping old labels or chemically treating beams prior to relabeling. It was designed with today’s smart warehouse in mind where speed, efficiency, inventory location flexibility and environmentally friendly solutions are top priorities.

Applicability

Eco Beam Renew™ is a convenient, efficient and environmentally friendly way to relabel warehouse racks, providing warehouse managers with the flexibility and operational efficiency they require.
